Hello, blog! Just wanted to take a little bit and update everyone on my crazy, wild move!
If you have been following me for a bit, you've heard about my move. Me and my partner have picked up house and moved to another apartment, which was both a blessing and a curse. Our old place was drafty, outdated, and aged, with rusty, loud pipes and creaky floors. Now, don't get me wrong. I am not complaining. That apartment was the first place that me and my partner lived together. It was our home. But our new landlord wanted to completely redo the entire building, so we were offered a nicer place in the same complex! Score!
All last week, we have been moving at a frantic pace. We started working on Monday afternoon and I dont think we stopped until we collapsed in bed Thursday night. And with the pandemic being a concern, it was down to just the two of us. No family, no friends, just me and him and our sore backs and arms.
But we did it! The two of us put our heads down and we moved!
Unpacking is going fast, maybe even faster than packing. My goal today was to have my desk up and running again so I can get back to writing. Not writing for the last 3 days has been a strange feeling, especially because I like writing daily to keep my mind fresh and my creativity on point. So, with my desk ready for me to work at, I am excited to finally get back to work.
In the next few weeks, I'll be gearing up to release my third novella, which is super exciting. The cover is getting finalized now, and the story is shaping up so nicely. I'm a sucker for a classic "enemies to friends to lovers" tale, so this one really pulled at my heart strings. Victoria and Samuel were just so much fun to write, too! Getting to write them both as snippy and angry gave me quite a few giggles, and as the story progressed, my heart melted! I'll be getting the story back from my editor soon, so a publishing date should reveal itself in the next week or two.
And after that, we shall see! Writing the novellas has been a blast, even though I have "Tea Witch" in my back pocket.
But updates on "Tea Witch" are for another time!
Right now, I am just so, so thankful to be settling into my new home and getting back into my routine! I've never felt more grateful!
Just me, a paranormal romance author with big dreams and even bigger crushes!
